Cultural Resilience

Cultural Resilience

Aboriginal people and communities struggle with the two cultures and living in both worlds. The impacts of Colonisation and disempowerment have had profound impacts on First nation people’s communal harmony and this plays out in Lateral violence and other negative life impacting behaviours. Journey of resilience supports understanding and awareness of the resulting behaviour’s and the ongoing impacts of those behaviours. To understand provides better choices in how to support each other from a service provider’s perspective and from a community member’s perspective. This workshop is designed for First Nation people only and is facilitated in a safe and supported environment.
